We’re delighted to announce the launch of the virtual whisky tasting web site. The Benromach distillery in Speyside will be holding the event on Wednesday from 2pm UK time (3pm CEST, 9am EST). This is during the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.

We hope you can join us for the live and interactive tasting. If you can’t make it, we’ll be showing a recording of the event afterwards.

Since going live this morning we’ve already had many people asking where to buy the whiskies that are being tasted by Keith the distillery manager. Sweynh is joining us online this Wednesday from Orkney with the whiskies he purchased at his local whisky shop, John Scott & Miller.

We will be adding more links to off line and on line whisky retailers soon, in the meantime let us know if you will join us and from where. Love to hear from you!

Benromach Traditional - Matured in oak casks selected by hand, Benromach Traditional is a rich and mellow single malt with fruit and malty tones, balanced with a hint of smoke.

Benromach Organic - the first bottled single malt released to be fully certified organic to the rigorous standards set by the Soil Association. The whisky is matured in virgin American oak casks made with wood from environmentally managed forests in Missouri. Golden brown in colour, Benromach Organic is a fresh vibrant whisky with a strong oak influence.

Benromach Peat Smoke - Using pure spring water from the nearby Romach Hills and heavily peated Scottish barley, Benromach Peat Smoke is crafted by just two men at Speyside’s smallest working distillery. Light straw in colour the nose is sweet, revealing burnt sugar aromas with wood smoke and a gentle medicinal note. The palate delivers peat smoke and ash followed by sweet toasted malt.
